Why we're making it

Because most days aren't race day.

A desk, a commute, a match after work. We're making nor for those days, and only those.

  1. 01

    Not a race-day drink

Race day has its own drinks. nor is for the days in between: the desk, the commute, the walk home.

  2. 02

    Nothing to measure

Tear the stick, pour it into the bottle you already carry, close it and shake. If you can fill a bottle, you can make it.

  3. 03

    Only what's settled

We tell you what's in it and how to use it. The exact recipe goes on the label when it's final.

What's in it

What we're putting in.

Electrolytes are minerals that dissolve in water. nor has three of them, and a flavour.

  • Potassium
  • Magnesium
  • Sodium
  • Soft citrus flavour
  • No added caffeine

The recipe is being finalised with the manufacturer, so we aren't printing amounts yet. They'll be on the label.

An ordinary day

Not race day. Tuesday.

No start line, nothing to track. One stick, somewhere in the day.

  1. Up

Window open, kettle on, the radio low.

  2. The way in

Bike, bus or the long walk, whatever the weather allows.

  3. Desk

One stick into a bottle of cold water. Soft citrus, gently sweet. The only one today.

  4. Home

A walk round the block, dinner, the bottle rinsed for tomorrow.

Electrolytes, plainly.

Short answers to what people ask about electrolyte drink mixes, and about nor. No jargon, no promises.

Questions

Questions, answered.

What is nor, and can I buy it yet?

Not yet: nor is in development. It's an electrolyte drink mix in single-serve sticks, developed by a small team in Madrid and made in Spain by a manufacturing partner: one stick in a bottle of water, once a day.

Is it OK to have electrolytes every day?

nor is designed for ordinary days: one stick in a bottle of water, once a day. If you have a health condition, watch your blood pressure or are pregnant, ask your doctor first.

How many sticks a day?

One. nor is made for one stick a day, in a bottle of cold water: pick one moment, like your first bottle of the day.

Do I need it if I already drink water?

Water comes first, and nobody needs nor. It's for when you'd like something in the bottle: one stick in a bottle of water, once a day, gently sweet, with a soft citrus flavour.

What's in it, exactly?

Potassium, magnesium and sodium, with a soft citrus flavour, gently sweet and with no added caffeine. We'd rather not print amounts that may still change: the exact recipe is being finalised with the manufacturer and will be on the label.

What about sugar?

It's gently sweet, and the recipe isn't final yet, so we won't promise numbers. The label will show exactly what's in it, sugar included.

Isn't this just another sports drink?

No. Race day has its own drinks; nor is made for the days in between: one stick in the bottle you already carry, once a day, with no added caffeine.

Can I try it before launch?

If you're in Madrid, yes: we'll hold tastings before launch and ask people on the list first. Wherever you are, one of the short notes we send is about how it tastes.

When does it launch, and how much will it cost?

There's no date or price yet. Leave your email and you'll hear both first, with a few short notes before: the taste, the box, the price.

At launch

Hear it first.

One email when nor is ready, and a few short notes before: the taste, the box, the price. Nothing else.

Only emails about nor. Leave whenever you like. Privacy
